About Us

We are the Patz family, Iain, Olivia and Annie. We have been dog lovers all our lives, with family pets and started our own dog family 10 years ago with Leo. Since then, we have tried lots of different dog sports but our true love is agility. We started in grade 1 and have worked our way up to compete internationally, now with 3 of our dogs. Our dogs are our life and we give them the best treatment we can, and all decisions about what we do revolve around them! But wouldn’t have that any other way.

As well as running and training our dogs in agility, Iain also loves to judge at agility shows. We also run our own agility club called Bark Zone Agility.  Outside of agility we are quite normal, Iain is a very keen sportsman who loves watching what ever he can, as well as participating in touch rugby. Livvi is a huge animal lover, this shows from the chickens, guinea pigs and marine fish tank that she currently cares for.

Here is a little bit of info about our 6 dogs:

Leo

Leo is 10 and now retired from agility but still enjoys long walks and herding up the chickens.  Leo was our first dog as a couple, for the first year of his life he used to go to the stables with Livvi who used to drive teams of horses in the New Forest; he used to jump on and off the carriage when he got tired.  We started doing agility with him at about 11 months. We were very lucky and found one of the best trainers in the UK and our obsession started from there! He started in Grade One and got us all the way to Championship level then on to competing for GB internationally. His claim to fame is winning an international class (the only one you don’t get a medal for), but he still did it!

Leo
Dappy

Dappy

Dappy, is now 9 we got him shortly after starting agility with Leo, as we knew it was going to be a big thing in our lives! Dappy also went from G Grade One to Championship level, winning a Reserve Ticket last year.   This should have been his last year competing but with COVID-19 he has missed out.

Imp

Imp is currently 7 and a complete goof ball. He is competing at Championship level and has been measured into the new intermediate height. This will hopefully make his career longer and more successful as he is a small Collie and struggled to jump full height at 65cm. He has also been selected for the IFCS GB team 3 years in a row, placing 7th overall at the last competition.

Imp
Streak

Streak

Streak, is currently 4 years old.  She  has been our most successful Novice dog so far;  last year she qualified for every Novice final currently running in the UK.  Unfortunately for one of the biggest finals Livvi had dislocated her knee the week before, they tried their best but didn’t quite get round the course. However, a few weeks later they did win the Camddwr Cup.  Streak also won up to Championship level at one show, winning every class entered, she also won the win on spot for IFCS GB 500 height

Ferdinand

Ferdinand, is currently 18 months old, he is our rescue cross

breed.  He is still in training, we are hoping that he will be a great agility dog for our daughter Annie, but if not he is a great family pet, making us laugh everyday.

Ferdinand
Heck

Heck

Heck, is currently 11 months old.  He is nephew to Streak and he is showing great potential and we are looking forward to his future.
