So there are 5 ways I want to try this snake line work
Way 1 – I want you to try matching your dogs position going over the jumps, not getting too ahead and not getting too behind! This is where most naturally we will be when running a course
Way 2 – this one I want to run into number 2 and then stay as far behind the dogs as you can. Doing work from behind is key as we can often find ourselves behind so being able to deal with this confidently is essential
Way 3 – send your dog to jump 2 and run off and see how far ahead of the dog you can be. Again we are human, sometimes we get ahead of our selves so important the dogs understand us being ahead too
Way 4 – so you can see from the image a slight change to the direction you are heading after 4….this is because I would like to to practice blinding 3 and let Ketchering 4 bringing through the gap!
Way 5 – so similar to way 4, and again would like you to do a blind on 3, ketcher on 4, and blind 5
(To really test understanding and proofing you could also do threadles over the 3 jumps and then test the understanding for the snake line)
